He is survived by: his wife Faye Lynn Walker; his children, Lisa Taylor (Regina) and Lorenzo Taylor (Denise); his grandchildren, Jalen Womack, Ja'Markus Gary, Landon Taylor and Zuri Taylor; his sister Bonita Taylor of Alton, IL; his in-laws, Gregory Walker (DeeSheryl), Wanda Walker, Pamela Walker, Beverly Terry (George), Darla Walker, Clayton Walker, Alphonso Hammond and Tana Olbrantz (Greg); and his friends, Charles "Tony" Covington, Randall "Randy" Gater, William Dunlap, Kenneth, Bobby Everage, Donald "Doc" Hearn, Butch Forbes, Valory McDonald, Michael Bryant and Ricky George.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Deliverance Temple Complex (1125 E 6th St, Alton, IL 62002). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Upper Alton Cemetery (2090 Oakwood Ave, Alton, IL 62002).
