He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison L. Boyer and Dorothy C. Brumfield; and his sister Barbara Byrkit (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Suzanne Boyer-Baker (Ed) of Lee's Summit and Beth Stephan (Robert) of Godfrey; his grandchildren, Ty, Tre Baker, Maya and Alex Stephan; and his sister Nancy Wendle (Denis).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gent Funeral Home (2409 State St, Alton, IL 62002). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
