We are sad to announce that on November 17, 2025, at the age of 80, Sharon Mardell Liley (Alton, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Sharon leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Sharon may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Claude and Mardell Lavon Ward (Talbot); her former husband Robert Smith; her husband Donald Everett Liley; and her grandson Hunter Beck.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Beck (Brad) of Maui, Michelle Otis (Mike) of Alton, Cristie Scott (Greg) of Bowling Brook, IL, Matthew Smith (Sandra) of Godfrey and Scott Liley (Candy) of Brighton; and her sister Lynn Lenker (Jim). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
