She was predeceased by: her son Tyler Lee Melton; her father Joe Dooley; her stepfather Roy Cathcart; and her grandparents, Joe and Rubenia Crawley.
She is survived by: her son Daniel "DJ" Joseph Melton (Moiya) of Pope, MS; her mother Janis Crawley of Batesville, MS; and her siblings, Dana Smith Ware (Jason) of Batesville, MS, Brooke Siniard (Josh) of Athens, AL, Cara Rice (Shawn) of Bloomington, IL and Matthew Dooley of Batesville, MS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
