She was predeceased by: her son Brandan Joseph Gray; her parents, Canaday Boyd and Lula Boyd; and her siblings, Canaday Boyd Jr. (Louise), Gene Boyd (Martha), Edward Boyd, Cora Lee Sharp (Frank), Vesta Lee Boyd, Lucille Boyd and Mary Boyd.

She is survived by: her husband James Gray; her children, Anthony "Tony" Gray, Curtis "Curt" Gray, Policia "Lisa" Andrews (Rosman), Stephen Gray, Venita Sciacca and Kirstan Gray (Kathleen); and her grandchildren, Omar, Franklin, McKaley, Kaz, Andrew, Shonda, LaKisha, Erica, Bianca, Ché, Andrea, Benaim, Surya, Sofia and Ayumi. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins.
