He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Litton and Ethel Winifred Johnston (Ward); his wife Janita S. Fay; his brother Tracey; and his sister-in-law Luann Johnston.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Johnston (Cathy) of Wataga, IL, Terri Lee (Craig) of Jacksonville, NC and Doug Johnston (Roger Cardenas) of Detroit, MI.; his grandchildren, Codee Lee (Abby), Harlie Lee, Thomas Lee (Stefanie), Gunner Johnston (Jordan), Elizabeth Johnston and Cooper Johnston; and his great grandchild Clementine.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oneida Cemetery (1195 Knox Rd 2500 N, Oneida, IL 61467).
