She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. McGlothlin and Diana Brownswell McGlothlin; her grandmother Opal Rice; her siblings, James A. McGlothlin and Melanie Gray; and her friend Lisa.
She is survived by: her husband Jeffery Nelson; her daughters, Mandy Bailey and Misty Tomlinson (Eric); her grandchildren, Briana Blake (Dustin), Douglas Bailey (Eleana), Keagan Tomlinson, Davian Bailey, Tamara Bailey and Camden Tomlinson; her great grandchild Mason Blake; and her sisters, Shari Naugle (Phil) and Patty Smith (Danny). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (405 N Depot St, Altona, IL 61414). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Teresa's name may be made to the Knox County Humane Society, American Cancer Society or the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altona.
