He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Trimble and Ruth Trimble (Stratton); his wife Brenda Blaker; his children, Mike Trimble and Stephanie Block; his grandsons, Stephen and Timothy Block; and his siblings, Carlin Trimble, Tim Trimble and Debra Brown.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard "Rick" Trimble of Bismarck, IL and Robbie "Rob" Trimble of Alvin, IL; his grandchildren, Dalton Trimble (Hope), Raymond Block, Denise Block and Troy Dawes; and his siblings, Sue Spurgeon of Texas, John Trimble of Danville, IL, Dale Trimble of Pheonix, AZ and Gale Henson of Ohio. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Larry's memory to the Danville Humane Society.
