He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Trimble and Ruth Trimble (Stratton); his wife Brenda Blaker; his children, Mike Trimble and Stephanie Block; his grandsons, Stephen and Timothy Block; and his siblings, Carlin Trimble, Tim Trimble and Debra Brown.

He is survived by: his sons, Richard "Rick" Trimble of Bismarck, IL and Robbie "Rob" Trimble of Alvin, IL; his grandchildren, Dalton Trimble (Hope), Raymond Block, Denise Block and Troy Dawes; and his siblings, Sue Spurgeon of Texas, Gale Henson of Ohio, Vickie Chandler of Tuscaloosa, AL, John Trimble of Danville, IL, Dale Trimble of Pheonix, AZ and Gene Crain of Tuscaloosa, AL. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
