He is survived by: his parents, Travis DeJonge and Megan Sonnenberg DeJonge; his sister Clarke DeJonge; his grandparents, Brian, Beth Sonnenberg and Randy DeJonge; and his uncles, Jeremy (Ann Newman), Andrew Sonnenberg (Megan Ward), Dylan (Lexie Dejonge) and Brandon DeJonge.

The family requests memorials be made in care of the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa.
