We are sad to announce that, on July 29, 2020 we had to say goodbye to William Foley Jr. of Andalusia, Illinois, born in Rock Island, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Foley and Violet Foley (Schmerbach). He is survived by: his wife Mary Hannam; his daughters, Erin Phair (Adam) of Englewood, OH, Shannon Nielsen (Brian) and Milan; and his grandchildren, Alana, Levi, Gavin, Alli, Connor, Bailey and Caden.

In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Andalusia or to the Bethany Home.

“Todd and I were very sad to hear about Bill’s passing, he was a wonderful person. When Todd and I first started camping he rode by in his cart while we were putting up a shed. “At a loss for words, Mary, Erin, and Shannon... one treasured moment with Bill happened on the Muscatine levee when the DQ deckhands brought a section of her guard to my car for a souvenir. It was obviously too big for me to handle and Bill brought it home and cut it in half - so we each had a piece of our river royalty for our collections. Bill himself was river royalty, as well as being one caring family man. He will be missed by his river family, as well as by yours. Judy Patsch”
