She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Carlson and Joy Carlson (Lace); her former life partner Edward Meyer; and her spouse Dr. Jordan Edelman. She is survived by : her brothers, Roy Carlson (Margie) of Plainwell, MI and Herb Carlson (Bonnie) of Seaford, VA; and her brother-in-law Gary Meyer (Emily) of Cobden. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Anna.
