The memory of Bon L. Kohler of Anna, Illinois, born in Jonesboro, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2024 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ual Kohler and Flora Kohler (Schlichting); his spouse Jean K. Coats; his parents-in-law, Agnes and Herbert Coats; and his brother Eugene Kohler.

He is survived by : his children, Greg Kohler (Sandy), Kelly Boyd (Shane) and Nicole Evans (Barry); his grandchildren, Nedom Bowen (Caitlin), Amber Sturgeon (Dylan), Alyssa Pecord (Jake), Mason Watkins (Libby) and Ava Rosenthal; his great grandchildren, William, Robbie, Roxie Bowen, Sutton Sturgeon, Kolter Pecord and Crue Watkins; and his sister Geraldine Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home (301 W Spring St, Anna, IL 62906). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at the Jonesboro Cemetery.
