He was predeceased by: his father John "Jack" Starr; his brothers, Richard and Ron Chapman; and his sister-in-law Donna Webb. He is survived by: his mother Janet Sue Starr (Carter); his wife Linda Starr of Anna; his sons, Brandon Starr (April) of Anna and Jacob Starr (Amanda) of Anna; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kaleb (Erin), Kiley, Daultan, Hailey, Gavin, Caleb, Samantha and Madison; his great grandchildren, Jessie James, Braeleigh, Nova and Isabella Rose; his siblings, Kevin Starr (Michele) of Anna, Ceasar Treece of Dongola and Dorinda Treece of Anna; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Richardson (Jerry) of Anna and Sherry Stoner of Jonesboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home (800 Public Square, Jonesboro, IL 62952). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
