Joe McMahan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe McMahan of Anna, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe McMahan to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Estin and Beulah E. McMahan (Bittle); his wife Gale McMahan; and his siblings, Millie Gardner, Patricia Schlenker, Archie McMahan and Merrit Junior McMahan.

He is survived by: his sons, Joseph McMahan of Anna and Randy McMahan of Anna; his grandchildren, Cody McMahan of Anna, Andrew McMahan of Troy, Kyle McMahan of Anna, Darci McMahan of Anna and Sarah McMahan of Chicago; and his sister Vickie Sadler (Gary) of Cape Girardeau, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; cousins; other relatives and close friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rendleman & Hileman Funeral Home (301 W Spring St, Anna, IL 62906). The military honors was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Anna Cemetery (608 E Davie St, Anna, IL 62906). A burial was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the First Baptist Church in Anna.
