He was predeceased by : his parents, Eugene Gaddis and Lois Eileen Gaddis (Nordmeyer); and his siblings, Margaret Louise Gaddis and Eddie Gaddis. He is survived by : his children, Amanda Gaddis of Anna and Joshua Johns (Nikki) of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Mykayla Parr, Alexis Eddleman, Lucas, Avery Smith and Jackson Johns; his siblings, Shirley Montgomery (Gorden) of Goreville, Nina Shepard (Jack) of Ullin, Larry Gaddis (Kelly) of Dongola, Tammy Gaddis of Tyler, TX and Tony Gaddis (Sharity) of Alto Pass; and his close friends, Rodney Cross (Debbie) of Jonesboro and Dick Kristoff of Lick Creek. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions are preferred to SIH Cancer Center.

“I am so sorry for Richard's death but I know he is now in no pain. My husband and I met him at Jonesboro go kart track and always sat with him at the Marion track until he fell ill. Sorry for your loss. He will always be remembered in our hearts. Larry and Kathy Throgmorton”
