She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Carrington and Lillian Carrington (McGinnis); her husband James Hermie; her grandson Nathan Pickering; and her siblings, Elaine Miller and Gary Carrington.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Pickering (Gregg) of Kewanee and Sue White (Chuck) of Sheffield. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
