He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregorio Lira and Margarita Lira (Juarez); his wife Martha Lira (Carlino); and his siblings, Albert Lira (Manu), Mary Bautista (Ray), Gregory Lira (Chuy), Phillip Lira (Jessie), Marshall Lira (Grace) and Louis Lira.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Lira (Maryjo), Michele Habjan (Mike) and Mark Lira (Helen); his sister Mary Scholle (Socorro); and his grandsons, Alex Lira, Jack Abernethy, Dominic and Vance Lira. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
