She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Struzynski and Helen Struzynski; and her son Jeffrey Rietschel. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Rietschel (Erin Elliott) and Jacob "Jake" Rietschel (Stacy); her daughter-in-law Kathy Rietschel; her grandchildren, Lauren Rietschel, Lindsey Pittser (Adam), Chad Rietschel, Janelle Lahrman (Zac), Brett Rietschel, Madison Rietschel, Casey Rietschel, Brady Rietschel, Grant Miller, Carter Miller and Kasey Miller; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Kamden, Rylan and Rowan; her sisters, Mary Lou Kaye and Kathy Endemann (Wayne); and her sister-in-law Mel Tarkowski (Brian).
To honor the care provided to Carol, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be directed to Lisa Rietschel to be donated to the individual caregivers that provided Carol with compassionate care throughout her journey.
