She was predeceased by: her father Henry Lowitz; her close friend Luther Lewis IV; her stepson Donald Day; her sisters, Lorraine George and Karen Ochocki; and her former husband Leo Day.
She is survived by: her children, Todd Day and Marie Lewis; her stepdaughter Pam Day-Vlies; her grandchildren, Matt Vlies, Chris Minor, Kevin Vlies, Jean-Marie Day, Jen Minor, Nick Vlies, Mike Minor, Elijah Day and Jared Day; her great grandchildren, Emma Minor-Miller, Joshua Minor, James Day, Briana Newton, Colin Newton, Hannah Vlies, Charlotte Vlies, McKenna Vlies and Connor Vlies; her brother Fred Lowitz; and her close friend Jhatayn Allen-Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members, friends, and adopted family.
