We bid farewell to Glenn Muhlenbeck of Antioch, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 8, 2025 at the age of 79. Glenn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Muhlenbeck and Agnes Muhlenbeck; his brothers, Sidney Muhlenbeck (Carol) and Kenneth Muhlenbeck; his siblings' children, Paul Muhlenbeck and Bonnie Cheney; his in-laws, Eugene and Clydean Garvin; and his brother-in-law Brad Garvin.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Garvin; his children, Christine Wohlbrandt (Ken) of Bristol and Michael Muhlenbeck (Lori) of Bristol; his grandchildren, Drake Muhlenbeck (Kaylee), Drew Muhlenbeck (Anna) and Olivia Muhlenbeck; his sister Lila Muhlenbeck; his siblings-in-law, Dana Muhlenbeck, Gary Garvin (Sue) and Russ Garvin (Karen); his grandson Eli Gomez; and his close friend Don Zirbel (Greg Weis). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (7931 Bristol Rd, Bristol, WI 53104).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Zion Ev. Lutheran Church are appreciated in Glenn's memory.
