He is survived by: his wife Carrie Effinger; his children, Stephany Almodovar and Sean Carlson; his parents, Genuel Almodovar and Candida Almodovar; and his siblings, Genuel, Jr. Almodovar (Doreen), Rodney Almodovar and Ramona Almodovar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
