The memory of Rita Stecher of Antioch, Illinois, who passed away on August 24, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Johnson and Johanna Johnson (DeSaegher); her husband John Joseph Stecher of Peter's Catholic Church; and her sister Patricia Hay. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Stecher, Jeffrey Stecher (Heidi Kraus) and Joseph Stecher (Jennifer Van Wakeman); her grandson Merrick James Stecher; her brother Alan Elliot (Kathy); and her siblings-in-law, Gerald Stecher and Carole Braun.
