He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sylis Gay, Jasper Gay and Winry Gay; his parents, Robert Stitz and Jean Stitz; his siblings, Jeff Stitz, Connie Ryan (Stitz) and Suzanne Stitz Bernescut; and the mother of his child Nickie Marques. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to Disabled American Veterans (DAV), an organization that reflects his commitment to service and support for fellow veterans.
