Susan W. Dent Obituary

We announce the death of Susan W. Dent of Antioch, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 72. Susan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Gerald Wynn; her son Christopher John "C. J."; and her brothers-in-law, Dave Popejoy, Craig Karpiak and Bob Straus.

She is survived by: her mother Sandra Wynn (Minerley); her husband Matthew Dent; her children, Colin Dent (Heather) of Antioch, IL and Kelsey Haley (Patrick) of McKinney, TX; her grandchildren, Alden, Aspen, Atlas and Autumn; her sisters, Debbie Popejoy, Patty Karpiak, Pam Bown (Michael) and Kelly Straus; and her daughter-in-law Heather Dent. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM.
