She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Winter and Minnie Winter (Wolford); her husband Albert Brown of Patrick's Catholic Church; her children, Janet and Gerald; her daughter-in-law Renae; and her grandchildren, Billy and Deborah.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Brown of Dixon, IL, Judith Anger (Nelson) of Rockford, IL, Jean Schaber (Richard) of Winnebago, IL, Karen Brown (John) and Sharon Abner (Ron) of Orlando, FL; and her daughter-in-law Christine Brown of Warren, IL. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (105 W Webster St, Apple River, IL 61001). Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in her memory for the St Joseph Catholic Church in Apple River, IL.
