Goad of Arcola, Illinois, born in Tuscola, Illinois, who passed away on December 14, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Crist and Lora Crist (Clough); her husband Elvin Goad; her son Chuck Goens; and her siblings, Glen Crist and Lois Good.

She is survived by : her former life partner Ebert Goens; her children, Gary Goens (Melody Collins) of Lake City, FL, Sharon White (Willie) of Greenup, IL, Debbie Renfro (Skip) of Lovington, IL, Patty Shupe of Charleston, IL and Ann Lytle of Whittington, IL; her stepdaughters, Eugena Patterson (Todd) of Newton, IL and Caroline Davis (Sam) of Olney; and her sister-in-law Janet Crist of Atwood, IL..
