He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Phillip and L. Wanda Herye (Morrison); his son Thane Phillip Herye; and his sister Shirley Dianne Mathias. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Castor of Arcola, IL; his stepchildren, Sheila Castor of Monument, CO, Nina Castor of Monument, CO and Brent Dehne of Portland, OR; and his niece Robyn Mathias (Jerry Mathias) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
