We announce the death of Marjorie I. Harrington of Arcola, Illinois, born in Hindsboro, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2026, at the age of 94. Marjorie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles M Weller and Ruth Sabina Weller (Cuppy); her husband James Harrington; and her brothers, Howard Mason Weller (Betty) and Norman Richard Weller (Joy).
She is survived by: her children, Bryan Harrington (Kim) of Oceanside, CA, Marcia Garvens (Keith) of St Louis, MO, Lynn White (Jim) of Tampa, FL and Celia Meisch (Paul) of St Louis, MO; and her grandchildren, Daniel Garvens (Beth), Jason Garvens (Carley), Michael Harrington, Nicholas Harrington, David White and Lauren White. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (221 E Main St, Arcola, IL 61910). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Arcola Cemetery (950 E Co Rd 200 N, Arcola, IL 61910).
