He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifford A. Strader and Thelma E. Allen Strader; his son Scott Strader; his siblings, Allen, Dan, Michael Strader, June England and Dolores Dague; and his siblings-in-law, Kent Coy, Don England, Edna Strader, Sabina Strader and Linda Strader.

He is survived by : his wife Marsha Graham; his daughter Leslie Leitner (Randy) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Luke Leitner of Joliet, Tate Leitner of Pekin and Nicole Leitner of Pekin; his siblings, Nelson Strader of Oakland, J. D and Myra Coy of Decatur; and his siblings-in-law, Archie Dague of Hindsboro, Jeanne Strader of Kemp, Gayle Strader of Charleston, Garret and Brenda Graham of Robinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
