Paul Anthony Rippey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Anthony Rippey of Arcola, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Francis and Louella Rippey (Pullen); his wife Shirley Rippey; his son-in-law Jerry Livingston; his great grandchild TJ Livingston; his parents-in-law, Russell and Velma Hooker; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Patridge, Jerry Hooker (Mary), Ron Hooker (Barb), James William Hooker and Barbara Farris.
He is survived by: his children, Jodi Livingston of Arcola, IL, Lisa Stewart (Tom) of Mattoon, IL and Scott Rippey of Arcola, IL; his grandchildren, Toby Livingston (Martha) of Tuscola, IL, Josh Livingston of Arcola, IL, Dustin Livingston of Arcola, IL, Jeremy Mast (Jenny) of Sullivan, IL, Brett Stewart of Mattoon, IL, April Daubs of Mattoon, IL, Jake Rippey of Tuscola, IL and Taylor Rippey (Brendan Hosler) of Mattoon, IL; his sisters, Alice Rippey of Carver City, MN and Susie Patridge of Decatur, IL; and his brother-in-law Bob Farris of Mattoon, IL. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, a few great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (221 E Main St, Arcola, IL 61910). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
