With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rick Hock of Arcola, Illinois, born in Tuscola, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2026 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Emanuel Jr. and Margaret Pearl "Marge" Hock (Miller); and his brother Lee Allen Hock. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hock (Irvin) of Arcola, IL; his children, Ricky Hock Jr. of Mahomet, IL, Jennifer Hottman (Justin) of Tolono, IL and Ryan Brannon (Kate) of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Bryce Hock, Kennedy Hock, Courtney Rich, Zoey Hock, Destiny Booth and Wyatt Booth; his great grandchildren, Everleigh and Zailey; and his siblings, Doug Hock (Vicki) of Arcola, IL, Rose Hock (Darrell Powell) of Arcola, IL and George E. Hock III of Mattoon, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
