He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cooper and Jean Cooper; his brother Donald; and his daughter Stacey Stumpfl. He is survived by: his children, Scott Cooper (Patty) of Fort Myers, J. P. Young (Lindsey) of Monticello, Sarah Eades (Patrick) of Benton Harbor and Annie Young of Arcola, Illinois; and his brother Joe Cooper (Angie) of Robinson, Illinois.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
