He was predeceased by: his parents, Max and Ernestina; and his spouse Sarel Rose Ament. He is survived by: his brother Hans; his children, Mark Edward Ament (Kathleen) and Adrianne Patrice Ament; his grandsons, Jason Ament (Catherine) and Nicholas Ament (Caitlin); and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Henry, Reese and Abigail.
