With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew P. Matalas (Arlington Heights, Illinois), who passed away on November 11, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Panayiotis Matalas and Xaitho Matalas; and his siblings, Eleni, Toula and Paraskevas.

He is survived by: his children, Peter Matalas (Amy), Heidi Matalas and Maria Bolos (Dino); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Diana, Andrew, Petros, Athena, Andreas B., Leo (Leonidas), Andreas M., Christina and Jerome; his wife Diane Matalas; and his sister Heido Karitsiotis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
