He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Goebbert and Lydia Goebbert; his sister Velira Guenther (Donald); his parents-in-law, Frederick Redeker and Edna Redeker; and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Chidley (Kent) and Sally Redeker.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Redeker; his children, Denise Obenauf (Michael), Brian Goebbert (Christine) and April Felch (Michael); his grandsons, Keith and Joel Felch; his brother Elwood Goebbert (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Frederick Redeker (Jeanette) and Glen Redeker (Elizabeth).
