With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cara Shlau (Arlington Heights, Illinois), who passed away on August 15, 2021 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael Shlau; her sons, Samuel and Evan Shlau; her parents, Fanchon Lazerwith and Mark Lazerwith; her parents-in-law, Alan and Marla Shlau; her brother Scott Lazerwith (Holly Herndon); her brother-in-law Jason Shlau (Emily Brotsky); her niece Nora Herndon-Lazerwith; and her nephews, Benjamin and Ethan Shlau.
