He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry LeRoy and Frances Sar Johnson; and his sister Janet Kinney. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Johnson; his daughters, Jennifer Morris (Kent) and Dianne Schiltz (Jack); and his grandchildren, Ashlyn, Kendall, William Morris, Jack, Ally and Hayley Schiltz.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights (302 N Dunton Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Donald Johnson died peacefully on August 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.
