He was predeceased by: his spouse Barbara "Bella" Cipkin; and his sibling Haiki Chestahawski. He is survived by: his children, Fred (Patricia), Ava Feder (Michael) and Michelle Waxman (Ross); his grandchildren, Lauren, Kira, Jennifer (Jasiel), Rebecca (Nathan), Mallory and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Skyler, Julian, Maddie Belle, Jackson and Mason; Iosim.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center.
