He was predeceased by: his parents, John McGuinnis and Eleanore McGuinnis; his sister Patricia McGuinnis Jacobsen; and his partner Ewa Turko. He is survived by: his sister Mary Kay Kenyon (John); his sister-in-law Katherine McGuinnis (late John); and his sibling's children, John Kenyon (Lana), Kyle Kenyon (Colleen), John McGuinnis III (Phoebe Bates), Bridget Jacobsen Moody (Zac), Madelyn McGuinnis (Dayne Harris), Colleen Kenyon Thome (Christopher) and Isabelle McGuinnis. He is also survived by four great nephews and seven great nieces, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raymond of Penafort Catholic Church (301 S I Oka Ave, Mt Prospect, IL 60056).
