He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helene; his daughters, Julie Greenfield (Eric) and Rhonda Sue Shapiro; his grandchildren, Danielle Cash (Zach), Ryan Greenfield, Lauren Mandel (Jordan), Joe Shapiro (Hilary) and Jonathan Shapiro (Carrie Walters); and his great grandchildren, Daisy Isla, Lucy Rose Mandel and Lilah Rebecca Shapiro.
