We are sad to announce that, on August 2, 2025, at the age of 84, Joanne C. Hanschman (Arlington Heights, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry J. Smith and Lena G. Smith; and her husband Ronald Hanschman. She is survived by: her sister Judy Smith; her children, Debbie McComb (Jerry) and Tom Hanschman (Kim); her granddaughters, Kylie Hanschman (Kyle Knoke), Stephanie McComb and Keira Hanschman; her great grandchild Henry; Brandy Old Fashioned, Mojito, Jell-O and Joanne.
Be prepared for plenty of tears but even more laughs and good times!!"In lieu of flowers, Joanne's family would be grateful for any-sized monetary donations to be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation (michaeljfox.org), which specializes not only in Parkinson's research but also the research of and potential cure for that terrible disease and Lewy Body Dementia.
