He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace Connor Gibbs and Thelma Gibbs (Roberts); his wife Yvonne Gibbs (Bastyr); his sisters, Karen Martin (Neil) of Burlington and Marilyn Jenkinson (Ernest) of Alexandria; and his children, Colleen Howland (Deforest) of Millbrook, Clare Shore (Daryl) of Carmel, John Jr. "Jack" Gibbs (Jennifer) of Ashland, Mark Gibbs (Colleen) of Ashland, Grace, Neil Howland, Andrew, Brandon, Audrey Barber, Ainsley, Brianna, Connor Gibbs, Tess, Kalen and Ella Gibbs. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
