He is survived by: his close friends, Jim Meenan and Tom Riggs; his grandchildren, John Jr. and Kimberly; his wife Kathleen Marie Leonard (Hunnewinkel); his children, Caroline Bachert (Steven), John Leonard (Sheryl) and Kimberly Seger (Kurt); his siblings, Rita Johnson (Harold), James Leonard (Patricia) and Jerome Leonard (Marlene); his grandchildren, Brian, Lauren, Kathleen, Emily, Thomas Bachert, Maya and Charlie Seger; Kathy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in John's memory to Creighton University's Heider College of Business Scholarships.
