He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father John W. Ivory; his wife Gertrude (Costello); his children, Mary Ivory-Coulomb (late Christopher), Gert R. Ivory (Doug Goedken) and John J. Ivory; his grandchildren, Benjamin Coulomb and Anne Coulomb; and his brother Robert Ivory.
