The family announces the passing of John K. Lucas of Arlington Heights, Illinois on September 5, 2026. John, born on July 9, 1946, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Lucas and John Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Lucas; his son John Lucas (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jack, Charlie and Ben; and his siblings, Charlotte Sorci, Mark Lucas (Marce) and David Lucas (Lindy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Additional Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to Our Lady of the Wayside St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
