He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Heinz and Adeline Heinz; his wife Joanne Heinz; and his brothers, Edward Heinz (late Lorette), Robert Heinz (late Mary) and Jack Heinz (late Gerry).
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Heinz Jr. (Kathleen), Jerry Heinz (JoAnne), Mary Daly (Rick), Suzanne Heinz and Katie Plunkett; his grandchildren, Robert Heinz, Michael Heinz, Jennifer Heinz, Megan Koenig (Kaleb), C. J. Heinz, Erin Daly (Katherine), Joseph Daly, Brian Daly, Kevin Daly, Charlie Plunkett (Megan), Grace Plunkett and Brigid Plunkett; and his sisters, Dorothy Broccolo (Eugene), Patricia Brucker (late Edward) and Suzanne Ryan (late Jack). He is also survived by 74 nieces and nephews.
