Smith (Arlington Heights, Illinois), who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 67, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Walter and Eleanor Walter; and her brother Joseph Walter. She is survived by: her husband Steve Smith; her children, Stephanie Cherry Smith Williams (Jason) and Rory Francis Smith (Renee); her grandchildren, Molly, Ronan, Dagny, Reese, Vivienne and Ivy; and her sisters, Karen Miller (Mark) and Sharon Sobestanovich (John). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Lynn's honor be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
