She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Walsh and Catherine Walsh; her sister Evelyn Frye; her husband John D. McCarthy; her children, Mary Tierney and John McCarthy; and her granddaughter Colleen Tierney.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Daniel, PJ Tierney, Laura Cypress, Julia McCarthy, Elizabeth Schommer, Denise McCarthy, Lauren Leisen, Robert McCarthy Jr., Patrick Gibbons and Kerry Cellini; Nancy Gibbons (late Patrick), Robert McCarthy (Debra) and Kathleen McCarthy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church (434 W Park St, Arlington Heights, IL 60005). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
