With sadness, we share the passing of Michele L. Wechsel of Arlington Heights, Illinois. Michele, born on November 3, 1948 in Duluth, Minnesota, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Russell Anderson and Florence Anderson; her husband Anthony Wechsel; her children, Kristin Surroz, Brian Henkels (Sharon) and Joe Wechsel (Tracy); her grandchildren, Haley Fernandez (Adam), Jesse Wechsel (Jenae), Madeline and Alexis Henkels; her great grandchild AJ Fernandez; her brother Jeff Anderson; and her nieces and nephews, AJ Anderson (Viv) and Kelley Anderson (Malinda).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the N. H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home (1240 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
