We announce the death of Nancy O'Brien of Arlington Heights, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 92. Nancy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William H. O'Brien; her children, Tim (Maggie), Ann, Bob (Jude), Peggy and Michael O'Brien (Fred); her grandchildren, Matt O'Brien (Olivia), Bridget Houser (Doug), Molly Koehler (Michael), Kelly McNicholas (Matthew), Kaylee McVeagh (Kevin), Michael, Daniel Lewis and Lexi O'Brien; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Tommy, Lucy Houser, Henry, Liam Koehler and Barry McNicholas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church (8300 N Greenwood Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount St. Joseph, 24955 N. Rand Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047, or the 15/10 Foundation, 713 Bigley Avenue, Charleston, WV 25302.
